I'm looking for a consumer/prosumer camera. I tried searching where a request like this might best go, and I didn't find any specific areas that seemed to fit. (forgive me if I missed it)

Requirements: 720p/24 & 720p/60
Mic Input
Tapeless (Hard Drive or SD Card)
under $1000 new or slightly used.


Optional: 1080p/24
Mic input is XLR
Multi SD slots
Prefer Canon or Sony.

There's a large Canon section here on DVi, and for the frame rates you want, you'll have to look at Canon, Sony is strictly 1920x1080 60i.

Should be lots of possibilities in the Canon line, look at the HF-S10, S100, S11, S21 to start.
