Well,

I never had these problems until I recently replaced my motherboard. Now it seems that my 9c is caughing quite regularly on any longer and more complex projects.


Is there anything to do about it?

I had this before on 8 and have the same problem now on 9c, 32 and 64 bit, XP Pro and Win7,
most of the time happens with larger projects and in my case more often with 5D converted in neoscene, or RED ProRes footage.
Looks like a common problem, hopefully Vegas R&D team is working on the issue;
couple things help me to stay with Vegas - edit in smaller logical chunks and assemble project in dvd architect, also keep Project Media tab "clean" from material that is not used in the project helps to avoid red frames and IOSurrogate error pop up.
