You can't use to mount any of the PL lenses anyone would really want... No Ultra or Master Primes, no Cookes...

No sale.

The Optimo is an Awsome lens Perrone, but I must admit a little 7D would look plain silly riding on the back of one!

I'm aware of the Optimo... but ya know. They make primes for a reason. And I don't shoot everything outdoors, nor do I want to light my indoor sets to 100FC just to use a huge zoom lens. If I wanted a 2.8 zoom, I'd use Canon L glass which would be every bit as good with the resolving power of the Canons.

Yea, but how do you get wide with it? And the GH1 isn't my cup of tea.

easy on a D7 take a Sigma 10-20 not cheap but good
that would be something like a 16 I do guess
the Pl mount well for some Angenieux otherwise
why not, I do work manually since 30 years

I do the same on stills with my D3 on a Silvestri flexicam with Hassblad, Linhof or..
other glasses,,,,, called Scheimpflug... sorry for the Gemann
but no DSLR can do it and even indoors for fashion it is very usefull
sometimes, I'm not on action

it is not all on resolution really not
