View Full Version : A Must Have for External Monitoring...an HDMI Cable Protector/Saver!

If you're like me....you're either blowing through HDMI cables because they break so easily due to them sticking out the port, or you're trying to somehow rig the cable so it's supported somehow.

I haven't found any L-shaped cables...but these look to do the trick nicely:

I own one of those right-angle adapters, but I worry about it causing too much torque on the camera connector. I'd rather blow through 20 HDMI cables than damage the connector in the camera, so I prefer using a cable.

I'm primarily a 1DMKIV user, so I'm delighted that the camera comes with an attachable HDMI protector.
