The Sony wireless units state that they require 3.0v (ie 2 alkaline) and all rechargeable batteries are 1.2v, although B&H shows a Duracell having 1.2-1.5v output Duracell | DC1500B4N AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries | DC1500B4N

Has anyone used rechargeable NiMH with the Sony wireless receivers/transmitters?

And what about the Seinn G3?

Thanks

I use 2500mAH NiMH rechargeable AAs with Sennheiser G2 sets all the time.

I did some careful studio experiments first to check/ensure the working lifetime I get, and all was OK. Never had a problem, and I must have saved a fortune on non-rechargeable AAs.

I've been using the 2100mah Rayovac Hybrid rechargeables in my G2s, which runs them all day. Sennheiser recommends standard 1.5V alkalines, but in my unscientific evaluation, I do not notice any decrease in performance.
