Ok, so the zoom on the HM100 is a bit frustrating. Particularly when panning, I understand why JVC don't do lanc but can anyone cast any light on this guy?

It's the JVC HZ-ZS100U Handle Mounted Zoom Control according to the GlobalMedia site it works with the GY-HM100, on the JVC site it only mentions the GY-HD100.

Confused (again)
