Kia Ora Scott--I'm not a Kiwi but your country is one of my favorite places on earth, after having trekked through it last year. Welcome to DVI.

Hi Scott,

Vegas and NZ--I like you already! :) I say that because I use (and love) Vegas, PLUS Owen here is one of my dearest friends.

I'm saving up to visit NZ someday. After I give Owen a great big hug I'm going to find the place where they strap people in that huge ball and roll them down a hill. (What's that called again, Owen???) Sounds like a blast!

Have fun here, Scott, and welcome!

Ooooh Lorinda. That was a sneaky one!

The place is Rotorua. The ball is a Zorb. They strap you in by your wrists and ankles. Throw in a bucket or two of water. Then, let you roll down a bumpy hill till you hit the bottom.

I tell ya though. A hug from me will give ya a bigger thrill!!!

So...It's a roll down the hill and a wet T-shirt contest at the same time. I'm impressed.

Hahahaha! That's hilarious, Joe! The Kiwis think of everything. :)

Say, what happened to Scott? We didn't mean to hijack your thread, mate!

Hello Scott

What a coincidence! As we speak I’m editing in Vegas some HDV footage I shot in Deans Bush couple of months ago when visiting the family, Kahu Rd. Riccarton where they live. You know; ducks, grandkids, the Cottage, trees, the incredibly green grass. I’m from Christchurch too but I was born in Temuka; bet nobody else here knows that little village. Now I’m living in central Mexico and like everyone else I’m writing a screenplay!

There is another forum here that you might also find useful. Not as good as this one (had to say that didn’t I) http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/forums/default.asp. Look for ‘Spot’. He knows a thing or two.

Cheers mate.

John

Hey All,

Yeah Deans bush is a very cool place, there was a major fire there a while back.

ZORBING! Thats such an awesome thing, I have never done it, but I am gonna fly and drive around NZ during the Xmas break and go Bungy Jumping and Base Jumping and Zorbing and all the crazy kiwi things :D

Good to know that there is quite alot of NZ'ers/lovers here

Keep it Kiwi
