Just checking, can ClipWrap split files? I often stream to hard disk continuously from my Canon XHA1 and then want to deliver to the production house. They would prefer clips 2 Gigs and smaller

That's not currently possible. You'd need to split the files after rewrapping/transcoding using something like Quicktime Pro.

I have FCP7, but just learning. I usually use Sony Vegas, but this project requires the files in ProRes/QT format. I'm guessing the way to split would be to drop the clip on the Timeline and set In/Out points, and Export?

Easiest way would be to open in Quicktime Player (quicktime 7 if you're in snow leopard, not quicktime X), mark in and out (with i and o on the keyboard) then select "trim" from the edit menu. Do file->save as and write out a new self contained file.

Doing it that way means you're basically just doing a file copy, so you're only limited by the speed of your harddisks.
