can somebody explain apple pro res 422 to me ?

and what is mean t by 16 and 8 bit uncompressed and compressed ?

prores stands for professional quality - Apple's very own codec. The 422 is the color space, as in 4:2:2 - which is good enough (the best is 444 but large file sizes and mostly only good for the best professional work or film).

8bit/16bit/32bit means the amount of detail each pixel can hold. 8-bit is bare quality. Try to keep your project at 16-bit for professional quality. Cinema quality and special effects need 32-bit float.

Compressed is when the file size is reduced without (hopefully) impinging on quality. Uncompressed means not losing any data at all - but file sizes will be very large.
