Hi Guys
I put this post under stabilizers cos I was looking essentially at using this rig in "flying mode" rather than just as a monopod. It's made by Barber Tech Video Products and they call it a Steddiepod and there is a new version out.
I know one could achieve much the same result by grabbing a generic stedicam sled and removing the handle and yoke but the idea of being able to fold up the rig is especially attractive at weddings where things are mighty cramped and you need to be pretty quick on the draw anyway.
Anyone had any experiences with this type of rig at all (there was a post here about 3 years ago but nothing else since)
