I'm using the opportunity to just get rid of the current drive (which is 3 years old and been in mostly continuous use) and plopping in a new drive. To clarify... all I need to do is deactivate before I yank the current drive and I should be golden for the reinstall, right?

Yes, deactivating increments your available licenses on our server, so you can reinstall on a upgraded old or new PC.

Good question...can I deactivate cineform on my PC to use HDLink on my Laptop and then re-activate on my PC when I am done traveling? How many times can the deactivate / activate be done - thx.
