Is it possible for me to transfer to my laptop using anything other than firewire. My pc is down and I need to upload this video asap. My lappy doesn't have a firewire port. Help! ....and thanks.

If your laptop has a PCMCIA slot you could buy a card that has firewire port on it. They're very cheap.


If your laptop has some kind of analog video input, you could use the A/V out on the camera.

Otherwise...no.

And if your laptop has an expresscard slot you need to buy a firewire expresscard.
