A couple of time lapse questions for shooting with a T2i.

1 - How large should my JPG stills be considering I will end up in either a 1080 or perhaps a 720 timeline in Final Cut Pro.

2 - How long will one battery last on my T2i during a time lapse shoot?

3 - Any recommended shutter speeds for say speeded up motion of people ?

4 - Is it possible to turn off the live view during time-lapse to save battery?

1. I export 1280x720 for some timelapse from QT Pro. So even the smallest quality will do.
2. The "fake" batteries I bought from Amazon last over 10 hours (haven't gone more than that)
having Live View and Image review both at off.
3. Personal choice.
4. See 2.

I just tried a time lap[se at night and couldn't turn off the live view and image review . Is there some trick I am unaware of . Did you go into the menus?

I have both options at My Menu for fast access.
Image review is at the first menu Live View at the seventh menu item.
This is at manual settings but even at the other modes it's there.

I find the number of menus and choices quite overwhelming. It would be nice if they had a "Quick Start" version for someone, like me, who is not a budding Einstein.
