I know there's a long thread about rendering to SD DVD but i was wondering if Vegas Studio 10 HD would add a better quality solution. I'm converting my 5D mk2 24fps to 720 cineform avi before rendering - For the DVD I select render to DVD from the Make Movie menu
Other than cookbook of third party codec hoops, is there a good way to get decent video on a DVD. The burn to DVD option doesn't seem to let you really select options as the burn to file does...

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality I got from a DVD burned on version 10 from a 1920 x 1080 source file. It seemed a lot better than what I had been getting out of Premiere...

Did you burn to SD for a DVD?

It's not possible - proved that last night :-(

Well. I certainly did it. It's all there in the render options. If you like, I'll try to repeat the steps over the weekend and write them down.

I'll buy you a pint if you do - I'd love to "do it right" for once.
