I'm looking at buying my own intercom headset for mobiles. Does anybody have their own set or preferences? I'm looking for something with good sound isolation and comfortable for hours at a time.

It would usually be plugged into a mobile triax/fibre camera's 5-pin intercom jack so that part is easy - either put the right connector on or make an adapter cable. I'm usually hard camera so double-muff is good. Does anyone know if different speaker or mic impedances can be an issue? (ie- my mic is way louder or quieter than everyone else's)

So far, I'm leaning toward this pair:
Telex Intercom Headsets PH-3500R: Dual-Sided Headset with 24dB NRR, Flexible Electret Boom Mic, & A4M Connector (http://www.intercomheadsets.com/product.php?id=300623002)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

My favorite intercom headset has allays been the Beyer dual muff DT109 I believe:

Headsets for Intercom - Intercom, Broadcast & TV - Headphones & Headsets - Headphones & Headsets (http://asia-pacific-india.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/intercom-broadcast-and-tv/headsets-for-intercom.html)

its completely serviceable with all parts replaceable, and its pretty much standard in most broadcast kits.

Clear com also makes a nice one as well.
