hello,
Is HDlink compatible with the .mxf files getting from a Canon XF 300 ?
Trying to convert my mxf files to avi, hdlink says "format not supported".
i still use prospect/neo hd 4.3.0 build 240

thanks a lot for your help.

why not work with the native files? I use a MXF file as an intermediate a lot of the time. I don't really see what you'd be gaining it's already 50mbs and 4:2:2 isn't it?

Hello Roy,
yes that's a good question, Canon XF300 provides 50mbps 4.2.2 mpeg2 file with a great quality.
But working with Cineform provides better quality when making multiple rendering, transitions, final grading render, ect...
Mpeg2 is a good codec for capture but for editing i always prefer to use an intermediate codec.
i don't know if there is something wrong on my system but i hope Cineform will support the Canon XF300.
