was there ever a solution?

1. I shot with a default .look in camera
2. Gave the footage to the post house
3. They didn't like that .look.
4. I created a new .look in First Light (also with a new white balance).
5. Sent them the .look file
6. They only have NeoPlayer.
7. Is there any way for them to apply my new .look and white balance to each clip...?

Thank you!

If the facility is using NeoPlayer, the easier solution would be to send the contents of your current color database. It would be smaller that the .Look file.

The reason to send a .Look file would be if they have a system that can read the file, but ignores the metadata, such as Speedgrade.

You can apply the look to your clips in FirstLight and then send the database to the post house and it will apply the looks when they play the clips back.

ah okay. That sounds like a great solution... soooo..

Could you help me with a step by step on how to do that? (where to find the folder/files, how they will install those files)..

I am on PC, they are on MAC.

Thank you!
