I had no luck trying to get CIS systems to work with my Epson Artisan 50. Recently I picked up a refillable cartridge system from Jason at Supertobuy.com. So far it works really well. The Artisan 50 is known as a printer that doesn't play nice with 3rd party ink solutions and the replacement Epson Cartidges cost as much as the printer. The printer itself is great though, so along with the refillable cartridges, it seems like a good solution.
