I saw a edited video of a sweet sixteen this weekend, and in the beginning of the dvd the video editor did like a slide show with all cool effects of the birthday girl from birth to present. My question is does anybody know where to get a slide show builder with all the cool effects that works with FCP

Noise Industries - FxFactory – Plug-Ins for FCP, Motion and After Effects (http://www.noiseindustries.com/fxfactory/)
Good slide show plugins. Really hard to find specific stuff on their site though. You'll have to dig around.

Actually, FotoMagico is from Boinx and is both a stand-alone app as well as a plug-in for FCP, AE and Motion through FxFactory (both the free version a well as the Pro version).

Version 3.6 just appeared.

I wlll be reviewing it in an upcoming article but suffice it to say I strongly recommend it.

Are you looking at the "home" version or the "pro" version which is $149.

Download at the NoiseIIndustries site.
Noise Industries - Store – Plug-Ins for FCP, Motion and After Effects (http://www.noiseindustries.com/store/)
You download FXFactory as well (don't need the paid version) as it's the "host" AFAIK.
You then get a trial of the Pro version.
