This is a test shoot using a Canon 60D paired with a 100mm F2.8L macro...starring my dog Memphis. He was a rescue from a shelter.

Edited with iMovie '11. Exported using the "share" menu and the HD 1080p setting.

All of the shots were desaturated, exposure 90%, brightness +20%, contrast +20%.

A few (maybe one) shots were sped up slightly.

Lighting:

One 30 watt 5500 Kelvin Light

Shot at night in my living room with ambient light and the before mentioned light.

Love to see a pup happily waggin' his tail like that; looks like he is one lucky rescue doggie. Very nice imagery, too. I do love that 100 macro! I primarily shoot stills rather than video with my 5DmII but you're inspiring me to get on with it.

i just bought it yesterday, and will be returning tomorrow..
with crop sensor, it seems a bit too close for what I do (weddings).
With 5D, i think it will be a perfect match, but I am returning it tomorrow, and replace with 35-50mm range primes with faster f-stop.
have fun with your lens.

Cute, quirky, creative - love that doggie!

Shows how movies, sometimes, can do so much more than stills.

(A little too much OOF stuff for my taste, but otherwise nice shooting and editing job.)
