I'm taking suggestions for t-shirts for the slogan for The DV Challenge.
While I have a few ideas of my own, I'm looking for others. Email your ideas to thedvchallenge@hotmail.com with the theme SLOGAN and if I use it, you get a free shirt and a free entry to the DVC3.

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for...
The front of the shirt will have a small DVC logo. The back of the shirt will have "The DV Challenge" with a funnyish slogan under it, like:
"If found asleep, place foot here (arrow pointing at ass)"

If you have other t-shirt suggestions on what to get, colors, ordering them, etc... just post away.

Hi Dylan,

What does the DVC Logo look like? Is it posted somewhere?

Not as yet. Soon though.

I like what you had on the certificate. Arrived Friday by the way - thanks a bunch.

"Victory against time and the competitors"

Or a variant like "Against time and the Hollywood"

As for me, I personally like shirts that have a smaller logo on the pocket and a larger one on the back. Black or white with a nice, simple typeface that is easy to read, like Arial.

How about stealing the Master Card commercial idea and doing a comparison between Hollywood and the DV Challenge? Something like this, (season to taste).

HOLLYWOOD________________________DVChallenge
Varicam setup $100,000+_____________BestBuy Camcorder package $500
Location $100,000+__________________Location (Guerilla Style) $0
Large Crew_________________________DP, LD, Director, Editor,
(on standby!) $20,000/day____________TD, Audio, Dolly, Grip - ME $0
Ticket Price $9.50___________________Experience and fun - PRICELESS

Hope my formatiing holds up... Sub spaces and better layout for the "_" characters. 2 columns.

Or, something simple like "DVChallenge, what Hollywood wants to be" or "DVChallenge, better than Hollywood".

Anyone asked Ron Howard to participate in the next one yet? Would anyone mind if I wrote to a few famous director types to see if they wanted to enter?

I'm thinking folks like David Lynch, Ron Howard, Rob Reiner, etc.
