I'm trying to find a bag that would be the absolute minimum size to carry an NXCAM around (say) a theme park :-)

Basically no accessories, but small enough to hold the camera with the mic on it.....

The kata backpacks are way overkill, and it seems like the petrol 002 or pc201 is too large...

is anyone using something that would be less bulk? (I know, a vixia or other smaller camera would solve the problem :-) but I'd like to play with the nxcam, and still easily lug it around......)

I got the Kata KACC193 from B&H Photo Video. I can't imagine the NX5U fitting in anything smaller with the attached shotgun microphone. It's a tight fit, but there is room for my head phones in a pocket under the microphone.

thanks,

I am thinking of going to B&H this week, and will take a look at that one.... I've been buying so many that I have a closet full for my cameras/equipment.... I promised that this time I would try to be a little more careful :-)

I've got this bag from B&H and you cannot go wrong with it Petrol Deca Mini Camporter, Large PC202 B&H Photo Video

The price is right, there is enough room to insert the camera, and all it's accessories.

I got a Tenba Messenger bag (small) for day shoots: remove the mic and the sunshade. It has enough space to carry additional mics.
