when I use the multi-cam function I only get audio from one of the video tracks

not sure what I am doing wrong....

when I instead use "insert video track" to create video in video, I have all the different audio tracks and can chose how to mix them...

another quick question: multi-angle DVDs are created at DVD architect stage or at Vegas stage?
I mean, I can obviously put different video tracks in DVD Architect, but I cannot really sync them as I do on the Vegas timeline

what's the workflow for multi-angle?

When you use the multi-cam option to combine the tracks, make sure the audio tracks are NOT selected. Then they will remain individual tracks and you can edit them individually and use whichever track is best at any particular time.

They are created in DVD Architect. What I did, was I made sure my FULL video had a chapter point where I wanted the "multi-angle" section to be. Then I could easily find where to drop in the other angles.

ok...but then how did you sync the new angle portion to the main video?

I put the chapter point on the main video. When adding the secondary angle, I used that chapter point on the main video as the beginning point for the alternate angle(s).
