Hey Guys,
Quick question. I usually transcode my 5d footage to edit in premiere CS5. However due to our workflow, (half the video gets edited on pc and the other on a mac) we need a format that supports both platforms. I know neoscene works great but the AVI file isn't supported on a mac.

My best option so far is to EXPORT whats been edited before editing on the other platform.

Thanks!

If you are working with Prem CS5 on both systems you might as well stay in native camera format, then pick a system to finalise on. Otherwise you may end up with gamma shifts etc.

I see... okay thanks for the reply.
I can't really edit with the native format because after a single transition its starts to freeze up. If its small quick videos its not a problem but a wedding will get frustrating.

Thanks

Avid's DNxHD was built to do this. And it's free.
