I was wondering if anyone had any luck with compressor settings to get HD video down to the size limit that Facebook sets. I had a 3 min video and it was way over the size limit. Thanks in advance.

QuickTime h264 should do it just fine.

I export self-contained ProRes 1080p24 files from FCP6, then use the H.264 Apple TV setting in Compressor.

The last one I did (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=190641584283304&oid=129659277044758&comments&ref=mf) was 5:29 and 203 MB.

I recently did some tests on facebook here in the UK and even the HD video upload is pretty poor quality, you are better off hosting it on You Tube and then putting a link on facebook!

Awesome... Thanks for the replies. I'll give them a shot. It is just to put videos of my son on FB so Grandma and Grandpa can see him. I use Vimeo for my other videos.
