I need to purchase a couple lav mics, based on a few reviews the cheap Audio Technica ATR-3350 seems like it would work out just fine for mic'ing the groom and officiant. Any other recommendations or other mics you would recommend instead? Thank you.

Hi Paul

Giant Squid (as far as I can remember) also make a white lav which is pretty useful if the groom decides to wear a white suit!! I had that very issue a few weeks ago so the mic couldn't go on his lapel as it's black!!

I'm also a fan of the Giant Squid mics. I have a couple black and a couple white. They work perfectly with my Olympus DM520s

I use the Olympus ME-15 (available on Amazon for about $19) and have been happy with it.

Hiya
I would go for a Tram TR50. It is not cheep, not at all. But because it is very open and not at all narrow you can get the bride just as clearly as the groom. We use them all the time and if any1 gets within a meter of whoever is wearing the mic you get them just as clear.
