I'm trying to help the man who just bought my 4 y.o but never used or assembled Flyer. All I know is what he told, which I quote below. (Answer to his question is "no," BTW) If there are follow up questions I should ask, please let me know what they are:

I got the steadicam and it is in great shape. However, the arm doesn't fit into the socket on the vest (pin on the arm is too fat). Did you buy the arm separately from the rest of the unit? As of now I can't use the unit. Please advise.

Have him take pictures, then post them and I will try to help you/him sort it out.

It's possible that he simply doesn't have the little screws on the vest socket block backed out far enough, which will cause the socket block to seem to not fit.

But pictures will be helpful to figure out the trouble. And your buyer should definitely take a Tiffen workshop. :-)
