View Full Version : Seriously lightweight travel sticks for GH2 DSLR

I am taking a GH2 with me as a 3rd camera (plus Ex3 and 7D) - and I thought I would pair this with a really light tripod - less than 3Ib - to hang on my backpack. I will also be taking my Miller Solo kit.
I will not be panning - just stationary and a ball head would be fine. However, I use a lot of the small RC2 QR plates.

I thought of the Gitzo GT-1550T Traveler 6X Carbon Fiber Tripod but has anyone seen these:

I've used this one and loved it. Sirui t-1004. I used it on a 7d.

I doubt anyone here has seen the articles indicated, they're photographic tripods as opposed to video tripods,
