Hi there,
Would this unit work with the Canon XF100?

VariZoom Lens Controls, monitors, Camera Stabilizers & Supports, Batteries, Monitor Kits Phone:512-219-7722 (http://www.varizoom.com/products/controls/vzrock.html)

(sorry, not sure if that link will be live or not).

Thanks for any advice on this.
If someone has any other suggestions, please send them along.
I have a version of the above Varizoom for my other camera, and I like it quite a bit and am familiar with it, which is the reason I'm asking about it in particular.

Regards,
Malcolm

I sure hope it does because I also have this product.

Great Mike. I'm not absolutely clear about your answer, though. You have this particular Varizoom (that's clear). Can you confirm that it works? Have you used it yet?
thanks,
Malcolm

Malcom
Sorry about my confusing post, I'm using my varizoom on another canon camera & whenever they start delivering the xf100 I plan on getting one. So thats why I hope it does work. I think there were some posts a while back about it working with the the xf300.

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I'll email Varizoom to confirm, and I'll post back on this thread.

a repair manager with Varizoom just confirmed via email that the VZRock does indeed work with the Canon XF100.
Good news for those of us who like these things.
