So I placed an order with a vendor that is reliable but not on this site for a kipro (they were doing a promotion where it came with a portabrace case and I can't pass up a deal) I was hoping to get the kipro next day but they called me and told me that they are out and when they called AJA that the kiPro was backordered for at least a couple of weeks, were they pulling my leg or is the demand still so great for the kipro that it still experiences back orderd? Note my order is for a KiPro not a Mini! Has anyone else had this issue? Is anyone else familiar with this promotion?

Nick H. - I suppose it is possible that the inventory of Ki Pro units was depleted by the run up to NAB (many of the units are used for digital signage at NAB in addition to the regular volume of units). The Ki Pro, not just the Ki Pro Mini, is quite popular.

There is also a chance that the company you purchased the unit from isn't an authorized AJA reseller for Ki Pro; you can visit the AJA website's "Where to Buy" page to see. You can also call AJA on Monday and make an inquiry with the sales department about Ki Pro fulfillment (of course, like your post here, be sure to make it clear that you are not referring to the Mini).

I would help you further if I could, but at AJA, inventory and fulfillment isn't within the domain of product management/product development.
