Sometimes I need a small something like a bulb for my Lowell light or a cable... does anyone know a brick and mortar video store in the Atlanta area?

If it's a DVInfo sponsor... even better.

Thank you,

You should try Showcase in Atlanta:

About Showcase Inc. Atlanta`s Photo and Video Superstore on Cheshire Bridge Road (http://www.showcaseinc.com/store/scripts/openExtra.asp?extra=13)

Not a DVi sponsor, but I've been to their store and they're great people.

Oh boy, never heard of them. I've been in the area earlier today... well, they are less then 30 miles from my place, I'll drop by again.

Thanks, Chris!

Barbizon Lighting has a store here too. They sell Dedo and Arri stuff so should have expendables. Barbizon Lighting Company (http://www.barbizon.com/)

Updating an old thread: Sad to report that Showcase has gone out of business. At least their bricks-and-mortar retail store has closed. They may still be doing business online.

Yes, very sad. I have traded with those guys since they worked out of a flea market.

I agree, I purchased all my video and editing equipment there. I was there for their last day. A sad day as I have been dealing with them for well over 30 years. I do miss them.

Tougher and tougher to maintain a walk-in business in this particular market. There are still a few left, though. Sorry to hear about Showcase.

If they hadn't already closed, the I-85 bridge fiasco would have done them in.
