Kevin,

I uploaded my "Equinox" yesterday, It was exactly 60mb when I downloaded but then the down loader said it was 61.5, so perhaps it did not go through, If so I need to know.

Kevin,
I can't seem to upload. Tried Internet Explorer and Mozilla both. Get an error about can't find XUploadConfig.pm. Any suggestions?

Mmm weird Steve. Nothing's changed. Worse case if you can't get it I'll create a FTP account for you and you can upload and I'll transfer it for you.

Strange. If I unclick "Show upload status in pop-up window" it seemed to work. Did you receive it?

I'm having the same problem. If I check the pop check box I get the same error message. If I uncheck the box, I get no feedback at all, so I don't know if it worked.

The upload prompt stated a limit of 160 MB, so I re-rendered for that size and attempted an upload.

After verifying the rules which state 60 MB, I re-rendered, attempted another upload. I don't know if either of them uploaded.

Hi guys:

Kevin will post an updated list on who's film has been uploaded successfully soon, I'm sure.

Victor, I just received your e-mail to me about the uploading information and have sent a reply, although it looks like you have gotten these questions answered. You are correct that the file size limit is 60 mb at present.

If anyone else has trouble uploading their film, keep us posted on this thread. Kevin and Mat will sort it all out in time. No one will be disqualified for a late film if it's because of troubles on the upload.

Cheers all! We are almost there!

I tried uploading and had the same problem. The only feedback I got was in the browser “Sending request to uwol.dvinfo.net…” and then “Done”. Something seemed to upload but it seemed a slower rate and shorter time than usual. Not sure what happened. I’m glad Kevin and Mat will sort it. Thanks guys!

I'm not seeing any new uploads in the directory.
There was some weird file in the directory that I've never seen before but it said its creation date was back in 2009. So not sure what's going on as nothing has changed since Mat installed the uploader.

Sorry I've not been on top of this sooner. Launching a new business has taken 110% of my time.

I tried again (10:30 PM EST). Same error.

Well, I tried to upload my movie for the past hour. Never had a problem before;
Here is the error message:

I've tried multiple times, renaming the file etc. Same result.

Hi Kevin:

As a temporary fix, should we provide the ftp link for everyone to be able to upload their films that way, Kevin? We could use your ftp that you mentioned earlier in the thread or I can provide an ftp to my server as well. I don't know if this would help or hinder.

Also, if everyone is familiar with and uses Vimeo or You Tube, we could let the feedback begin on the Vimeo versions while we sort out the other problems.

It's interesting that Ruth's film, the first to be uploaded made it in just fine.

It's whatever you and Mat feel is best to do Kevin. In the mean time, I'll try uploading a small test file to see what happens.

Hang in there folks. We'll get this going soon!

Okey dokes. We can just use the FTP account I have set up to transfer files to Panasonic.

The url is silverphoenixllc.com
The username is panasonic
The password is Phoenix1
Upload your files and I'll transfer them over to the UWOL server as they come in.

Thanks Kevin:

I think this is the prudent way to go.

I tried to upload a test .mp4 file and got the error. It looks like the upload program calls an executable file that is missing. Maybe Mat just needs to reload the uploading program and executable files to make sure a munched file is replaced?

It's a start anyway!

Thanks for providing the ftp link and transferring the movies over the old fashioned way. The Yetti saves the day! :)

Yeah, not sure what is or was going on as nothing has changed in the system for quite some time. But we'll get it all figured out and get the files where they need to be.

Hi everyone;

Nicely done guys!!! Congratulations for successfully submitting a film to the UWOL 20 challenge. I am really pleased. Your titles are intriguing and I can't wait to see them.

Because of the epic on upload, any last minute stragglers today are still welcome to the challenge but after today, that's it.

Get your feedback threads up! It's time!

I'll check back in tonight, for I'm out of commission today.

CHEERS!
