Hi all:

I know that when we send NTSC DVDs abroad, particularly to Europe, most DVD players in foreign markets are able to play the NTSC DVDs, no problem.

We must send a batch of DVDs to Brazil where I am told that a system called PAL M is used which is NOT 625 lines. Supposedly it is 525 lines, the same as NTSC, it just uses a different color subcarrier so the NTSC pictures display in monochrome?

Has anyone on here ever had to deliver NTSC DVDs to Brazil and if so, is there an easy solution to send them something that will play in color on their TV system? I guess B&W will have to do if it is costly or a hassle but wanted to see what you guys thought?

Thanks,

Dan Brockett
