I everybody i have in the past update the firmware on my PMW-EX1 from 1.11 to 1.20 and now 1.26.
Everything fine exept when i go to language selection i see :English , Japaneese , Chineese , is this normal.
I got the firmware from Sony UK since i could not find-it (V1.26) on Sony Canada or Sony USA for the EX1.
Even if my primary language is French i keep all my NLE in English for simplicity and keyboard configuration.
Very happy English is there but was expecting French and Spanish , info to install was in about 6 languages.

Is the Sony download source or country made any difference on languages included in the firmware.
If it become available in Canada or USA should i download-it and apply-it , will it work if it still 1.26.

Should i forget all this and wait for a next firmware update or it is the standard international languages version.

All of my fear where wrong , i contact Sony USA by phone and got a very kind support.

Took my EX1 to Sony Coquitlam after I tried an update I found on the net.

For $100 they updated my camera to v1.26, and adjusted the FB,
