Hi,

Sorry if this issue is already running, I couldn't find it anywhere..

Anyway, I can't see timecode for .mov files from dslr - 5d or 7d. it always shows media start as 00:00:00 for all files.

running premiere pro cs5.5, both on pc and mac.

also, if that's not weird enough, if I convert the files to prores thru fcp and import then, I CAN see the true media start and end.
But again, trying to import the original files, no matter how I try - no timecode.

This is really frustrating, because I shoot with both camera together, and can't sync the shooting order.

Thanks!

I've never needed timecode with tape based cameras, but can understand now with many file clips from the Canon the desire for it. So I use Pluraleyes (Singular Software (http://www.singularsoftware.com)). It's magic.
