Yellow Branch Falls is located in the Sumter National Forest just a few miles northwest of Walhalla, SC. It was recommended to me by fellow Vimeo member Rich Stevenson. Due to the drought I waited until after a couple of rainfalls before visiting the park in hopes of catching a decent water flow. Although it was a long hot hike with heavy gear, I think it was well worth it. Shot in June 2011 with a Panasonic HPX170 at 720/60P using custom scene files and edited with Edius 5.5.

Mark, as always, it was wonderful. The simplistic beauty and composition of your videos always inspires me to go out and do better. And of course the music is such a large part of the video. I went out and got the book, "Waterfall Walks in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee". Retirement is looking better. Thank you. Bob

Thanks Bob. Glad you enjoyed it. "Waterfall Walks in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee" by Mark Morrison is an excellent reference. Actually, his first book on waterfalls, which is now out of print, was the inspiration for me to do my first commercial DVD project back in 2005. Unfortunately, I loaned the book to someone and never got it back.
