Hi. I'm playing around with motion, trying to get more familiar with it as well as finishing some "simple" projects.

So I have a text grow/zoom move, and for some reason I can't fathom, it's jittery as it zooms. It's slight, but noticeable and not pretty. Is there some limit to how slow you can grow/zoom before it starts doing this (it's a rather slow zoom)

Tried it with the grow behavior, as well as manually keyframing the move. Same result both times. I don't know the program that well so I'm wondering what I'm missing?

thanks.

There should be a setting or a filter for motion blur somewhere, make sure it's turned on.

Ah. You mean a preference in motion or on the individual text element/layer/group?

I think so. I'm not that familiar with Motion, but jittery text movement usually is the result of the lack of motion blur.

By gum, you got it!

And it's in "view"/motion blur.

Now to figure out why the kaleidoscope effect on the flower power replicator likes to crop in very ugly ways as it evolves.
