Hi there,
I've been trying to get 50p out of my F3 over SDI for some time now without luck. Here are the scenarios:
A) Camera is set to 1080i50, SDI out port (not one of the dual link ports) is used. Connected to my Blackmagic Hyperdeck shuttle. Result is 1080i50.
B) Camera is set to 1080i50, SDI A port of the dual link ports is used. Connected to my Blackmagic Hyperdeck shuttle. Result is a weird squeezed double image. See here: https://img.skitch.com/20110811-fyy87ex5xjd8a4u1pwfgsyrdyh.jpg. Seems like the two fields of the interlaced signal get merged into one file.
C) Camera is set to 1080p25, SDI A port of the dual link ports is used. Connected to my Blackmagic Hyperdeck shuttle. Result is 1080p25.
Do I need to have SDI A and SDI B connected to the recorder in order to record 50/60p?
Kind regards,
Chris
