The story so far ...

The RED Revolution - LA Times Magazine (http://www.latimesmagazine.com/2011/09/the-red-revolution.html)

Cheers.

Somewhat inaccurate, but well intended.

Feedback from Ted Schilowitz here:

LA Times Article - nice, but some things they neglected to mention. (http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?62968-LA-Times-Article-nice-but-some-things-they-neglected-to-mention).

Congrats to them for getting such a mainstream media piece.

Everything you read in newspapers is absolutely true, except for that rare story of which you happen to have first-hand knowledge.* ~Erwin Knoll

Reading the article & Ted's post it just really seems like Ted had a different idea that what the article should have been. I didn't see a massive amount of inaccurate info. And that is the difference between independent journalism & a press release / PR campaign, thus Matthew Fleischer gets to write the piece he wants, fits the word count he has to & holds the attention of his readers.

At least Ted's post had a lot of class & thought. Plus a good use of the forum to talk to a captive audience.

vs

The comments in the end of the article. I wonder how many of those snyde commentors knew where Red was located off the top of their head before reading Ted's post.
