Saw this today: Magma Announces ExpressBox 3T - Thunderbolt to PCIe Expansion Chassis (http://www.magma.com/thunderbolt.asp)

Looks like a great way to leverage that spiffy new 10Gb/s Thunderbolt port on iMac and MacBook computers. With one of these babies, we could do eSATA, Matrox and whatever else suits our fancy that requires PCI connectivity without needing to invest in an (outdated) Mac Pro workstation.

On a similar note, Sonnet is releasing a similar product that produces an ExpressCard34 slot through Thunderbolt. $199 w/ the required Thunderbolt cable. Limited to one expansion device, but probably a lot cheaper. Link here: Sonnet - Echo ExpressCard/34 Thunderbolt Adapter (http://www.sonnettech.com/product/echoexpresscard34thunderbolt.html)
