This may be of interest to owners of an AX2000. It is a small device that converts HDMI to SDI.
Is battery powered, with the same batteries of the camera.... and seem that you can put it in the battery socket (!!!!).
Very, very smart solution.
Let's wait for some reviews.

Atomos Connect Converters (http://atomos.com/connect/)

Built for converting convenience, they are lightweight and fit in your pocket. Easily powered from battery or AC, they provide 3:2 pulldown removal, test pattern and audio signal generation, and even have a built-in torch for use in dark locations. At Atomos we love innovation, so we’ve made Connect incredibly flexible. They’re stackable and modular and you can cascade and power them from one source. They’re even rack-mountable.*

I have not seen a price but if it's over $300 then it seems kind of stupid to buy this when, if you had just spent an extra $500, you could have bought the NX5U with SDI/HDMI and a bundle of other features you don't get with the AX2000.

Well, this device will interest to every HDMI cam without SDI output (Sony, Canon, Panasonic...).

And Sony, sometimes, do good offers. I purchased my AX2000, NEW, from official Sony shop for 2.700 Euros. The NX-5 costs 4.000 to 4.500 Euros... or more.

The official price of the AX-2000 (only 500 Euros less than NX-5) is difficult to understand (no mic, no sdi, no 50 fps modes, etc.).

This is very interesting device, and could be very handy if you don't have SDI, However I agree with Michael it is better to spend little extra upfront and get camera with it then buy extra devices latter.
