When I make a (relative fast) pan, I get a wobbling image. Has somebody else seen this effect earlier?

Its normal for 30p, pan very slowly

@Colin

I know this "wobbling" effect with CMOS camera's (rolling shutter effect) but I did not expect this in this CCD camera. The video shows a very stuttering image, in my opinion.
I will try an slower pan, and see the result.

Anthony, I think it looks more like blur than wobble. 30p is very close the film speed (24p). Motion will never look as smooth as using 60p.

I think 720 60p looks the best on this camera. Just my preference. Less noise, smoother motion.

If using a tripod, try turning off OIS.

@Andy

Thanks for your answer.

I have made a much slower pan this time.

What I see on my laptop, with 1920*1080 screen, is stuttering/wobbling of the image when I play the videoclip in a video player NOT full screen.
When I play the same videoclip in VLC full screen, the stuttering is gone. So I guess it's a software effect and not a camera/settings problem.
I was afraid that there was still a problem with the camera, after I send the camera for repairing the "Interlacing problem", mentioned in this forum.
