I have a copy of Vegas 8. I have a laptop that I run Mac Boot Camp and this version on now. Works just OK.
I'm thinking of updating to ver 11. Anyone know if I can run Vegas on a Mac Pro using Parallels? I want to keep the Mac OS and machine. See the specs below (including the ATI card).

I run Vegas 10 on a MacPro (2009 ver) and it doesnt run well. DSLR footage are very jerky. Macbook Pro V10 on the 2011 17" works pretty well via bootcamp.

Not sure about parallels but i thought it might be slower esp with DSLR footage
