I've seen manfrottos 577 and 357 QRP and i'm wondering if they are compatible.

Nope.

The 577 uses the 501PL plate (8.6 cm X 3.8 cm), which is compatible with their 501/ 503 & 519 heads.

The 357 uses the 357PL plate (14 cm X 4.4 cm), which is compatible with their 506/ 516 heads.

They are not interchangeable.
