I typically shoot short guitar lessons, and I need the ability to then have different clips on the final video, where i play for instance the chords of a song on the main one, and on a separate clip the solo which appears just for the duration of the solo and so on..
now,,, I need to be able to record the solos using the previous video as a reference for timing: how can I make sure I record the new clip in sync with the previous one, so that when I make the video-in-video, everything is synced?
before you say so, I cannot use a metronome so I really just need to do what in audio recording would be an overdub, so recording a new instrument while listening to the previous one on the headphones....
again, it's not multi-camera, but different clips that need to be recorded in synch with one another.
or is there an easier way for doing this? I see a lot of people who manage to do it...
thanks
