08-05-2011 Wedding Video - Paul & Katie on Vimeo
A unique situation I suppose as I like to edit video (mostly automotive related) as a hobby. Well when it came time to get married, I didn't want to pay anyone else to edit, so I gave it a shot.
I am very new to color correction but tried my best to match some XH-A1 footage with some canon 7D DSLR footage. Very tuff, but I've seen other people on here do it flawlessly so I know it can be done. lack-luster results may be from my lack of knowledge on the subject or lack of tools. All I used for CCing was what is built in to Adobe Premiere CS3.
I had no good useable audio from the ceremony which was unfortunate. I did not want to do a song over the entire video but really had no choice. Also, I wanted to include reception video & other stuff but that is a whole different can of worms because no footage was captured.
Also, my computer its just a tad bit too slow to actually render 1080 footage in real time. So I have to guess on timing a lot, rendered out the video over 7 times, just to see what the video actually looked like so I could make changes.
open to constructive criticism & opinions.
