darn tempting - does this have the kit 18-55? I'd probably have to mug Senior Claus... but I've been wanting to step into the NEX system... timing is problematic... but still, I'm thinking...

Dave, permit me to offer my thoughts somewhat premature though they be. I have had my NEX 5n now for a couple of weeks and more and more I am appreciating what I can do with it. While at first i was slightly underwhelmed the more I understand the options the more impressed I become. This thing can almost see in the dark and the image quality, both stills and video, is just excellent. And of course you probably know all that already but thought I would give you my two cents worth.

Now, it’s not about to replace my EX1 nor other tools in my kit but at that price I wouldn’t think twice. It will surely enable other elements of your creativity and in my opinion worth every penny...

Let me add one more point. For me the optional EVF is a must. The fact that it swivels up and down is a big plus versus the one built in on the NEX 7. My ancient creaky back thanks me.
