I'm humbly submitting a recent wedding clip for you guys to review and share your opinion.

Love it. The introduction really sets the moods, so creatively done. I also like the many, many shots of guests laughing and enjoying themselves rather than just the couple. The jump cuts of the runners add a bit of humor. If I had one critique, it might be that there are a few too many shots including the photographer. I'm not crazy about shots of couples posing for photographs (but I do like the shot of the groom on his cell). The overall energy and style are unique, sure to appeal to artsy, intellectual couples. Great work.

Hi Eric, i'm sure that the couple will like this. However,I do think that this production could be enhanced by some color grading.

Regarding the photographers on the shots, and the number of clips, you are right, I believe it comes from my background cutting very fast Fashion Week clips as well as keeping the 'making-of' shots, I'll keep it in mind.
And Keaton, as for color correction, I also agree with you even though I'm not sure which if not all shots need correction/grading, but for one thing, since I had to use the small Canon HM31 camcorder as a second camera, the color balance and exposure are far off from the dslr and generally pretty bad. I suspect I can do far better job with color, but I'm not yet proficient at it.

Yes, I'd agree with Kevin. A bit of color correction (i.e. white balance on the color wheel and adjust to your eye) to take the tungsten out of the indoor and spotlight shots and to reduce the blue in the later afternoon shots. But I would not overdo the color grading for this couple, as they would seem to prefer a very natural aesthetic. I must say, I was so taken with your style, a subtle combination of artsy and down-to-earth, that the color issues did not jump out at me.

Thank you Keaton. I have the utmost respect for a professional or a good 'colorist' if that is the correct name.
That is an area which I'd like to improve to the degree of proficiency.
I'm glad you like my editing/shooting style, I hope so does the couple and future clients. If you have any gigs in Philadelphia, I can hop on the AmTrack for a day gig.
