I know you can jump to a timeline marker via CTRL arrow key but can you jump to the next event marker on the timeline? I've placed markers within events in the trimmer window to indicate significant scenes when on the timeline. I've done this so that these markers remain intact with the clip for future Vegas projects. Anybody know of a shortcut key to jump to next event marker on the timeline? Many thanks.

While in the Trimmer, be sure to click the Save Markers button.
Then, when you drop the clip on the timeline, the markers will be embedded in the event.
To have them show up as expected, run the Promote Media Markers script that's built into Pro 8.
Be aware that the markers are permanently embedded in the event.
If you want to get rid of them once your done, load the event back into the Trimmer, delete all the markers and click the Save Markers button again.

Thank you Mike. Yes, I can already see the orange markers within the event on the timeline. With CTRL + arrow you can skip to Timeline markers but is there a way to jump to the next or previous Event Marker on the timeline?

Perhaps you missed this in Mike's instructions - this is the action that will promote media markers to timeline markers. Then, the ctrl-arrow keys work.

Great, thanks! So I have to do this for each individual clip? Oh well. Wonder if there's an automated script to do all of them.

No need for another script.
Select all the video events on the timeline (click the first one, shift+click the last one), run Promote Markers and they'll all show up.
