I recently bought a GoPro Hero 2 and as with the first one, it doesn't shoot 25fps out of the box. With the first one, I just used the firmware update and I had 25fps.

However, I can't seem to find a firmware update for the GoPro Hero 2. Any ones I found were only for the first GoPro Hero, and it came with a warning not to use it for the newer version.

Anyone know how I can get the GoPro Hero 2 to record 25fps?

As far as I know the GoPro 2 supports PAL, it should be in the menu settings.

Hmm, must have missed it in the menu. I'll check it out. Thanks Nicholas!

Hi Ronan

There is a dedicated page for Hero2 Firmware Updates here :

HD HERO2 Camera Firmware Download & Update (http://gopro.com/support/hd-hero2-firmware-update/)

The menu has NTSC and PAL settings ..just choose the Settings menu (spanner/wrench icon) and it's past all the resolution and angle settings almost at the end. Default is NTSC

Yep, had a closer look at it a few days ago and realised my oversight. Have it working at 25fps now. Thanks for the help Chris and Nicholas.
